CICB programs were represented in 18 different locations last year! CICB 2019 Year in Review

Cleveland Inner City Ballet 2019 Year in Review:

 

Community-  In 2019 Cleveland Inner City Ballet collaborated with the City of Cleveland, Cleveland Public Library, and  the Alta Community Center to offer Ballet programming to underserved populations throughout Cleveland communities. Cleveland Inner City Ballet  programs were represented in 18 different locations throughout Cleveland's East, West, North and South sides.

 

 

Cleveland Inner City Ballet dancers began rehearsals in October and hosted a Nutcracker Tea Party in December for the Cleveland community . Dancers were exposed to Nutcracker classical music, choreography with rehearsals and performance opportunities.

 

 Pivots: In 2019 we completed the second year of our three year campaign towards owning our own dance facility. We have moved from our planning phase and are aggressively approaching our site location search.

 

Team: Cleveland Inner City Ballet Instructors are very talented dance professionals that are sought after throughout Cleveland and beyond. CICB Instructors who start with us have gone on to dance professionally in Texas, Ghana and Washington DC. Cleveland Inner City Ballet will be recruiting new instructors at the end of January. 

 

 

 Leadership: Cleveland Inner City Ballet Founding Artistic Director Chanda Ford- White will continue to lead CICB creating programming, performance, teaching and class opportunities for Cleveland communities. Trinity Johnson, and Joanne Damian have stepped in to help facilitate growth within the organization for 2020.

 

 

 

Marketing: Cleveland Inner City Ballet programs, classes and Instructors have been in some of Cleveland's finest medis outlets. To see our current media please click here to visit our Media page. 

 

CICB's Intention for 2020: We plan to continue expanding community collaborations, to continue participating in Cleveland community events, performances and festivals. We also plan to continue towards our 3 year plan of owning our own dance facility,
