Summer Camps 2018
Cleveland Inner City Ballet offers summer camps for dancers ages 18 momths - 14 years. Check the list below to find a summer camp to fit your needs.
(Ages 18 months-2 years) Itsy Bitsy Tippie Toes Camp (IBT) meets for a half hour (.5) hours every Saturday. There are two (2) sessions, which meet for three weeks in June and three weeks in July. IBT is a parent interactive movement camp which includes a sensory stimulating curriculum, focus on hand eye coordination for babies, emphasis on fine and gross motor skills, and muscle tone for our youngest dancers. We utilize pre- ballet technique, classroom props, classical music, musical instruments, nursery rhymes and our dancing imagination during class.
(Ages 3 - 5) Princess Ballerina Camp (PBC) meets for two (2) hours every Saturday. There are two (2) sessions, which meet for three weeks in June and three weeks in July. PBC camp includes a different princess theme every week, take home craft, games, and snacks. Princess Ballerinas are members of the CICB sticker club with a take home ballet sticker chart. An in-studio presentation and awards ceremony for parents and family will be held on the last day of each the session.
(Ages 6 - 14) Dance Adventures Camp (DAC) meets three (3) hours every Saturday. DAC has two (2) sessions which meet three weeks in June and three weeks in July. DAC explores adventures from three different dance genres: Ballet, Jazz and Modern. Dancers will create and choreograph a dance and perform the piece for an in-studio presentation for family and friends on the last day of each the session.
(Ages 3 - 12) Storytime with a Ballerina are FREE community programming offered by CICB through the City of Cleveland Parks and Recreation, Cleveland Public Libraries and Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland. In this outreach program fun and interactive ballet lessons bring storybook fairy tales to life through ballet. A FREE Storytime Tea will follow each session.
